Do you have an industrial asset in need of repair or restoration and don’t really know where to start? You can have confidence in knowing that AMPP (Association for Materials Protection and Performance) is the world’s leading authority on preventing corrosion and protecting materials so they perform better. AMPP was created when NACE International and SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings joined together after more than 140 combined years serving their members. Today, AMPP is active in more than 130 countries and has more than 54,000 members. AMPP has a globally recognized standards program for industrial contractors. Via their QP1 Certification program contractors must follow strict procedures and protocols beyond just surface preparation or painting. This auditable program gives asset owners peace of mind when selecting contractors to work on their projects. Benefits to owners include Pre-qualified Contractors, Risk reduction, Experienced contractors and inspection firms, and Asset longevity.
