Lemonade Day is a free, experiential learning initiative that teaches children how to start, own, and operate their own business—a lemonade stand. Through this hands-on experience, participants learn valuable life skills such as budgeting, customer service, and goal setting. In 2024, the program served 483 children in the Shreveport-Bossier area, with each child earning an average profit of $154 and donating approximately $78 to local causes .
