Here at Martin, we are always growing and with this growth comes new employees! Typically, these employees are young, straight out of high school, and have no experience. Which is why we decided it was time to make a change to our onboarding process! Originally, new employees would spend around two days in our office completing paperwork and watching videos pertaining to safety, procedure, etc. After this, they would be placed at various jobsites. After several weeks of meeting and reviewing this process, we came to the conclusion that it was in need of a major update. Together we developed a new and improved process:

The goal of this change is to ensure all employees receive the tools and training they need to be safe and successful out in the field. By expanding our onboarding process employees will now be able to ask questions and gain the experience they need before being placed on jobsites.
