Martin Specialty Coatings is hiring experienced Drywall Finishers for work at Fort Polk, Louisiana.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR FINISHERS WHO:

✔ Have professional drywall finishing experience
✔ Are skilled with traditional hand finishing tools
✔ Take pride in producing quality work
✔ Can meet the credentialing requirements to work on a U.S. military installation
✔ Are dependable, safety-minded, and ready to WORK

Experience with automatic taping/finishing tools (mud tools) is a PLUS!

A jouneyman is someone who can work independently or with in a team and fully understands the steps required for successful completion of a project. They should have a strong working knowledge of commercial painting, drywall finishing, texturing, and wall protection. Good Communication, leadership, problem solving and organizational skill are a plus. Core Competancies must include - Adaptable/Coachable, Committed/Competitive/Passionate, Innovative, Integrity, Positive Attitude and a Strong Work Ethic.  

Job Requirements:

A valid driver's license (in good standing)

Able to lift 50 lbs. and climb up and down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet.

Able to work Saturday and Sundays, if needed

Authorized to work in the United States

Must pass pre-employment drug screen

Have reliable transportation 

Prevailing-wage compensation is subject to the applicable wage determination and benefit/fringe elections. Employment and site access are subject to applicable project and military-installation requirements.
