Three years of full-time, satisfactory experience as a Waterproofing Technician



The Waterproofing Technician performs installation of caulking, sealants, and waterproofing/restoration services for new & existing buildings under the direction of management. Good Communication, leadership, problem solving and organizational skill are a plus. Core Competancies must include - Adaptable/Coachable, Committed/Competitive/Passionate, Innovative, Integrity, Positive Attitude and a Strong Work Ethic.  

Position Requirements:

  • Pressure washing
  • Commercial waterproofing
  • Caulking cut out and caulking installation
  • Above and below grade waterproofing with elastomeric, mastics, and membranes
  • Exterior painting
  • Swing stage rigging and aerial lift operation
  • Concrete patching
  • Uses bulk guns, electric guns, and electric removal tools
  • Tuck-pointing experience (Not required but preferred)

Primary Responsibilities and Function

  • Good attendance
  • Must report to work at designated project location
  • Work with Project Manager/Supervisor to start up jobs and report on job progress
  • Keeps work records as required
  • Provide proper care and on the job repair of equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills

  • Attention to detail and high quality of workmanship
  • Ability to train fellow employees in correct use of tools
  • Must be able to demonstrate sufficient reading, writing, and math skills to comprehend and explain company safety policies and material instruction     and application rates
  • Works independently with minimal supervision
  • Understand and apply industry and government safety standards for this type of work
  • Preferred certification with equipment such as forklift, boom lift, scissor lift, and swing stage rigging
  • Preferred certification with OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid

Requirements of the Job

  • May be required to work weekends, nights, and at heights
  • Ability to travel for work as needed
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Works on and from ladders, platforms, and scaffolds as jobs may require
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Lifting 50 LBS
